Naomi Simone Borwein

naomi

Naomi Simone Borwein holds a PhD in English literature from the University of Newcastle. She is a research associate at Western University and teaches at the University of Windsor. Retaining a lifelong fascination with the macabre, Naomi has published myriad chapters and articles on elements of h/Horror in literature, film, and culture, and has edited a Horror volume of critical essays and interviews. Her recent creative works appear or forthcoming across a spectrum of presses: HWA Poetry Showcase IX (featured poet), Ghost City Review, Ghostlight The Magazine of Terror, Farside Review, Superpresent Magazine, and elsewhere. Naomi’s prose and poetry incorporate various speculative and historical themes with a strong undercurrent of horror and slipstream.
