Kathleen Kaiser’s journey through the dynamic landscapes of marketing, technology, and the arts spans over five remarkable decades. Beginning her career as a music journalist and transitioning into the role of a seasoned publicist, Kathleen has left her indelible mark on the most exhilarating industries of her generation.

Her career has been a remarkable evolution, from the electrifying world of rock and roll in the late 1960s and 1970s to the transformative digital and internet revolution of the late 1980s, 90s, and 00s. Kathleen has navigated the realms of marketing for Fortune 100 corporations and small startups while orchestrating conferences and tradeshows on a global scale.

In 1993, she founded Kathleen Kaiser & Associates, an emerging technology-marketing firm that has since evolved to champion and support the nonprofit arts and literary communities. One of her notable accomplishments was spearheading the 805 Writers Conference from 2011 to 2022.

Kathleen’s dedication and contributions to the literary community were recognized when she was named Publicist of the Year in 2016 by the Book Publicists of Southern California. She maintains a select list of authors and clients, a testament to her commitment to volunteerism. Kathleen holds the position of President at the national literary nonprofit, Writers & Publishers Network (WPN), where she oversaw the merger of IWOSC and PALA into the group. She spearheads monthly literary gatherings with renowned speakers on Zoom. Launching an engaging podcast, “Talking Book Publishing with Kathleen Kaiser,” in March 2021, she now co-hosts with poet and book marketer Adanna Moriarty.

Throughout her illustrious career, Kathleen’s words have graced publications in the United States, Japan, the UK, and Italy. In addition to her prolific writing, she is the author of five published books, four dedicated to the music industry, a novel, and a collection of plays.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kathleen dedicates her free time to crafting another historical novel and writing insightful articles for regional and literary publications. She takes immense pride in her legacy as a fourth-generation small businesswoman.
