With 20 years’ experience in Business and Leadership, Dr. Dominic McLoughlin began his career helping to build teams, preventing issues from arising and resolving them amicably when they did. Dominic has helped clients in many different industries, including IT, finance, retail and education. Dominic completed his PhD in 2014, researching the importance of integrity and character in management behaviour for building trust within organisations.

Dominic has 20 years’ experience teaching and facilitating a diverse range of university courses and trainig for managers and senior leaders. Dominic is a Fellow of a number of professional associations including the Institute of Managers and Leaders, the Higher Education Academy and the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development.

Dominic is the author of the multi-award winning book Be a Better Manager in Five Minutes a Day: Create Trust in Your Team.

Dr. Dominic founded the Business Leaders Lab to make the 8 pillars of business success available to people who don’t have the time or money to udertake an MBA. Many of us entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and author-preneurs who set out to develop our own business have fantastic expertise in specific areas but we don’t necessarily have as much knowledge of all the different areas that running a business entails.
