Scott Ryan

Headshot Scott Ryan

Scott Ryan is an author, publisher, and television historian who captures the truth of what really happened. His latest book, Moonlighting: An Oral History (Fayetteville Mafia Press, June 1, 2021), is the never-before-told inside story behind the making of the pioneering TV series.

Ryan is also the managing editor of The Blue Rose Magazine, co-founder of Fayetteville Mafia Press, the author of thirtysomething at thirty: an oral history and the author of The Last Days of Letterman. Additionally, he wrote about his bad luck in twenty comic short stories, Scott Luck Stories. As luck would have it, no one cared.

Wry humor and an astute journalistic talent for getting people to open up make Ryan a raw and honest pop culture storyteller. He is also the director of A Voyage to Twin Peaks and the host of The Red Room Podcast. Ryan also once played David Addison in the 1988 homemade VHS-classic: Spooflighting.
