Bree Swider is the Head of Books That Make You, a multi-media firm under the Black Château Enterprises family of brands. In her visionary role, she oversees Books That Make You as the platform engages booklovers and promotes all-things books through its website, the Books That Make You Show, social media channels, Webby Award-winning newsletter and bookish events like The Beach-Bound Book Bash, Jingle Book Books and The BookFest®.
Swider is the former Director of Marketing Communication at Black Château, the marketing and public relations agency that specializes in promoting authors, books, and personality brands, and prior to that she was the firm’s Project Manager. She continues to assist in cross brand functional collaborations and initiatives. Her expertise in content creation, advertising, and marketing, with a special emphasis on book reviews and book-related article creation and promotion, as well as email marketing and book launch strategies, gives her a wide array of skills to apply in her field.
Bree currently lives in Norman, OK with her husband, daughter, and two young sons. She is an avid reader, and lover of the outdoors. You will likely find her with her family, exploring, hiking, and playing endless games of peek-a-boo.
