Aleksandra Tryniecka & Bunky

Aleksandra is an assistant professor at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Poland, a Deputy Head of Literature Unit in Athens Institute for Education and Research in Greece, a writer, a poet, the author of “Bunky and the Walms: The Chrismas Story” and “Women’s Literary Portraits in the Victorian and Neo-Victorian Novel”, and a literary mum to her literary child, Bunky – the protagonist of her Christmas book!

Aleksandra loves reading and writing. She specializes in the nineteenth-century Victorian novel, and teaches seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Anglophone literature. In her free time, she writes poetry in order to accommodate her life with the right words.

Bunky is the hero of “Bunky and the Walms: The Christmas Story”, and Aleksandra’s close friend and companion.
