After years in academia, writing one research article followed by another, Gwen turned her talents toward writing fiction and found she happily could not stop.
In addition to writing cozy mysteries as her pseudonym Cunigunda Valentine, Gwen also writes romance novels and has published non-fiction books on the work she does in conjunction with her business, Expressive Voice Dynamics.
She currently lives in Ashland, Oregon, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, with her family and her beloved black pug. Prior to that, Gwen lived in Los Angeles and had careers in directing, acting, and singing while performing at the piano. She’s a Puget Sound gal at heart though and you’ll catch glimpses of this beautiful Washington area sprinkled throughout some of her book.
