Ina Hillebrandt, President of Pawpress, is a nationally known speaker, author and writing coach specializing in memoirs and fiction. As a Fortune 500 consultant, she’s injected light notes into writing and Spoken Word performances – her own and clients’ – for 20+ years. Her books include “How to Write Your Memoirs…Fun Prompts to Make Writing…and Reading…Your Life Stories a Pleasure,” and IRWIN Award Winner “You Are Who You Eat: The Revolutionary New Cannibal Diet,” the book of cartoons, jokes and dieting tips for cannibals and civilians, illustrated by Dedini.
A Who’s Who Woman of the Year, Hillebrandt’s appeared on TV and radio, online, in the NY Times and other print media. Her first book, Amazon bestseller “Pawprints,” the book of close encounters of the furry kind, led to the Pawprints Literacy Plus™ program, and a curriculum guide for educators following work with the Jane Goodall Institute. Its focus: exercises designed to encourage students to WANT to read, stop kicking cats, and each other. Her Pawpress imprint publishes students’ and others’ writings, and has more than a dozen books in print, including the “Stories From The Heart” series. New release second quarter 2022: “From The Potato to Star Trek and Beyond: Memoirs of a Rocket Scientist,” a collection of amusing, inspiring, and hair-raising stories by author Chester (Chet) L. Richards. Hillebrandt’s also working on her first novel, a tale of mice in love. She hasn’t told her cat.
