Description

This adventurous story chronicles the journey of a highly talkative Siberian Husky as he relocates from California to Connecticut. “Thunder aka Wubbs” experiences leaving his family behind, meeting new friends along the way, and exploring new adventures with his new pet pals, Kobe and Nellie. Although he battles missing his family, his new buddies help guide him and eventually reunite with his family in their new home. His transporter “Joe” acts as a good role model and new friend throughout the journey. Thunder also has a hilarious characteristic called the “wubbas” which will engage young readers and provide a lot of laughs. The first chapter book of what I’m hoping to be a series is intended for children in 2nd through middle school. As a mother and former elementary classroom assistant, I aim to captivate young readers, while exposing them to problem-solving experiences and helping them build necessary skills in today’s society. As “Thunder” undergo’s separation from his family.
