The Mothers McGinn

Mary McGinn is a widow living in depression era central Maine. Her oldest children have worked to support the family, and now she wants to work again to let them live their own lives. Her daughter Allison marries a charming alcoholic, and her son Lewin meets the love of his life and works to save her from her vile step-father. The McGinns fight through issues like alcoholism, abuse and the trials of the great depression. Every girl imagines her wedding as a fairy tale, but sometimes the prince is a frog, or the Big Bad Wolf.
