Shadow’s Past

Having foiled the assassination attempt on the king, Rose Trewin finds herself once again battling dark forces to protect the castle she has come to call home. Her magic was pushed to its limits and now Rose fears the loss of control she has over it. A trip out of the safety of the king’s castle sends Rose in search of answers to find a way to save herself from spiraling into the shadows of her own magical abilities. During her trip a powerful enemy arises from the ruins of history and begins destroying everything in his path. Rose and King Micah find themselves in a dangerous position where they know nothing of what he is looking for or how powerful his magic truly is. All they know is they must stop him before he can destroy everything they hold dear. While this entity wreaks havoc on the country, war with neighboring kingdoms threatens borders and Rose must face the shadows of her past if she wants any hope to save her future.
