INTO THE REALM

Caleb Forrest, a twenty-two-year-old modern-day fisherman, has a tale to tell, a tale of justified murder, as he sees it. Experiencing a sort of amnesia from his last trip at sea, he pushes off aboard his prized Cat boat ‘Sea Gypsy’ for a one-day journey that will take him past his childhood haunts and the memories, both good and bad, that go along with them. The last descendent of a once proud seafaring family, Caleb’s left with a burden of land he does not need and cannot afford but must hold onto for tradition’s sake. Along with his heroic, albeit flawed grandfather, Caleb is pitted against an unscrupulous builder turned town politico who, bound by an ever-decreasing coastline, will do anything to get the land, even if that means using his first-born son as chess piece to do it.
