Heated Earth – Aedgar Moves In

Government forces have invaded the Community, ostensibly to protect children, in a terrifying, mind-corrupting land grab. Alcohol and porn are banned. Aboriginal Dr. Nerida Green cares for desert people on the front line of colonisation at the mysterious red rock mountain, Uluru, in the Central Australian desert. When she is home from the challenges of the clinic, a spirit (he prefers ‘non-physical being’) called Aedgar speaks to Nerida through the lips of her wife, Mari. What he says makes Mari angry and Nerida deeply unsettled. Claiming he helped create Earth, Aedgar foretells tragedy. But he forbids Nerida to try to stop it. ‘Lessons must be learned.’ How is Nerida to share this dark knowledge? People will die. Violently. Aedgar asserts that Earth may be small but its effects in the Universe can be devastating if humans refuse to learn and those who rule for greed remain unchallenged. But speaking up threatens to tear Nerida and Mari’s world apart.
