A Boy and His Nana: Adventures of the Terrifying Toothbrush

A Boy and His Nana is an adventure series inspired by the relationship between Triston, a special needs boy on the Autism Spectrum, and his loving Nana. In this adventure series, Triston finds himself in crazy scenarios or uncomfortable situations and needs help. His Nana always saves the day. The fictional book series focuses on an area in which Triston struggles as a child with severe learning delays and Autism Spectrum Disorder. In this adventure, Triston hates brushing his teeth because the bristles feel like prickly spikes. He makes promises to brush his teeth, but each time he makes a promise, he has his fingers crossed behind his back. After one night at Nana’s house, where abnormal things happen to a seemingly normal toothbrush, Triston returns home and never has a problem brushing his teeth again.
