Pitching Room

Welcome to The BookFest Adventure Pitching Room

Are you ready to pitch your manuscript? Would you like it to be seen by literary agents, acquisitions editors and publishing decision-makers? Submit your fiction or non-fiction manuscript to appear here in the BookFest Adventure Pitching Room.

Here is what you need to do:

Step One: Create your author profile to Pitch in the Pitching Room.

Step Two: Check your email inbox for a curated list of resources, articles, videos and information to both inspire you and help with your pitch materials.

Step Three: Submit your pitch materials. You will be prompted to pay via our secure payment method after you submit your pitch.

Step Four: Add on extras if you would like to be considered for Brave New Writer or Critiki-Bar. These two live panels happen during The BookFest. You could be selected for either, or maybe even both. Once you complete your order, you will get a confirmation email.

Step Five: Share your BookFest Pitch with your network, invite agents and publishing decision-makers to see it during online pitching events, and watch your inbox for agents who might be interested in representing your manuscript.

Remember, BookFesters — those who are part of The BookFest Community — can see your public pitch information. They can vote on pitches they like best and maybe even influence the agents.

Base introductory fees are: $25 to Submit Pitch, $25 to be considered for Brave New Writer, $25 to be considered for Critiki-Bar

Are you a literary agent, acquisitions editor or decision-maker with a publisher or literary firm? Request access to The BookFest Adventure Pitching Room Database. You’ll get credentials and have exclusive access to pitch materials and contact information. Find the manuscript you are looking for from writers who are ready for success.

We understand how frustrating it can be for literary agents to get pitch materials and queries that are lackluster. That’s why we offer BookFest Programming to help writers on their author journey. Authors who submit pitches are provided a curated list of resources, articles, videos and information to prepare them as they submit their pitches. We help prepare them, so you view the best pitches possible.

Here is what you need to do:

Step One: Create your agent account and your profile. No cost for agents and decision-makers.

Step Two: Submit for approval. We vet agents and decision-makers to ensure the integrity of the platform.

Step Three: Upon approval, you can peruse the database of manuscripts in The BookFest Adventure Pitching Room. Search by genre, theme, type of manuscripts you’re looking for, and more to find your next manuscript quickly and easily.

Step Four: Easily connect with the authors you are interested in through The BookFest system. Request a full manuscript read or more information from the authors.
