Description

(Based on actual events) There is no duty greater than family. In June 1933, Jim McGinn is killed on a dark country road. Without evidence the police rule it an accident. Jim is one of twelve children to an Irish widow living in rural Maine. Not believing the police account of events, his brothers join with extended family to learn the truth and gain some semblance of justice for Jim. During their search they become embattled with the most powerful man in the county and his son, until only one family came be victorious. The story has twists and turns that leaves the reader wanting more with each turn of the page.
