The Life of the Honey Bee

In The Life of the Honey Bee, two young girls, Em and Noel, cope with the destruction left in their lives after their mother’s death. Their mother, Marian, suffered greatly in her life, which left her incapable of fully parenting her daughters. The one bright light in the girls’ life was their grandmother, Cecilia. Cecilia did everything she could to support Marian, but Marian’s brokenness was too great. Marian passed her brokenness to her daughters, but the two girls walk different paths.
