Description

This book takes a look inside the world of trauma as a by-product of bullying & racism, and a catalyst to depression. The author guides his readers through the nuances of trauma, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), and PTSS (Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome). He then walks them down memory lane as he opens his own black box of personal trauma. With a combination of science, experts, and real-life experiences to illustrate how trauma can manifest in young black youth and extend into adulthood; Harris’ readers are left with a game plan and methods to break barriers and overcome. While the book addresses the mental (and psychological) aspects of bullying, trauma, and depression – Harris also includes a self-defense e-Course to address the physical aspects. His instructional videos (that accompany the book) will teach parents how to teach their kids his “Tactical 20”. Twenty ‘bully readiness’ techniques that will equip kids with the tools to guarantee they are able to defend themselves.
