Description

His classroom stories in Catholic grade school are amusing on how to survive nuns with their strict rules while dressed in their habits that resemble large penguins shuffling in front of the class. Although deep down everyone knew there was a kind soul inside that habit of theirs. It was still difficult when you could only see a scrunched face and two hands that popped out from under all those garments. Still, he loved the bonding, closeness, and fun of getting away with those little things that classmates would do. After grade school, the process of changing to public school and issues at home drove him to play basketball as a relief for his tired soul. The daily routine of shooting the basketball was so soothing to both his body and mind. The many roadblocks to playing basketball were overcome with perseverance and prayer. In later years, Mr. Gocke found that the wisdom of having faith, hope, and forgiveness in his life was his way of understanding the Mysteries of Faith. TNG
